Focus and Scope
Urban Library Journal, an open access, refereed journal of research and discussion dealing with all aspects of urban libraries and librarianship, welcomes articles dealing with academic, research, public, school, and special libraries in an urban setting.
Urban Library Journal, formerly known as Urban Academic Librarian, also invites submissions in broader areas such as public higher education, urban studies, multiculturalism, library and educational services to immigrants, preservation of public higher education, and universal access to World Wide Web resources.
Topics for columns and special issues will also be entertained.
